Transfusion Center and the city of Alicante Alfaz del Pi celebrated the seventh edition of the Marathon of blood donation in the locality. The Culture House hosted the blood drive received a total of 70 people, and those obtained 65 units of blood. It is noteworthy that the appeal to people who have never donated effect emerged, namely, 25 of 70 people who gathered at this joint initiative had not donated before. This figure shows again the extraordinary efficiency of these appeals, as they are for many people the opportunity to engage with those most in need.
Transfusion Centre appreciates the cooperation of the municipality of Alfaz del Pi and congratulates donors in solidarity with those most in need. And, a few days before Easter, these donations are essential to address the holidays we will have in a few weeks.
