Every year, the Xunta de Galicia subsidize a cultural trip for all students enrolled in the Program for Promotion of Galician Language in Bierzo. This school year is due to cultural journey takes place between 25 and 27 April. Always, before making the journey, the Board has sent a statement to schools, both primary and secondary, allowing the realization. This year, missing only a few days for this trip has not yet come to schools any official statement, without which you can not make the trip, your organization does not depend directly from schools.
Given this, we must question, why the Junta de Castilla y León so late sending this communication, when the Galician regional government organizes and subsidizes this trip? This inaction by the Board not only makes the trip but it affects other aspects of promoting Gallego Program. Thus, it is significant, for example, for the first time are few, or in a facility, either, students in this course continue with the Program for Promotion of Galician Language in high school, when in elementary school, this program is very popular.
For these and other reasons it is necessary that the Board do its work, engaging seriously in the promotion and development of the program, exercising the inspection work that corresponds to the Centers and, ultimately, ensuring its continuity in order to ensure berciano students' rights.
